Our 2013 Coffee Break was a huge success, all around the country.
From Invercargill to Kaitaia, Coffee Break hosts and guests celebrated fair choices that make a big difference and raised vital funds to support Oxfam’s work with communities throughout the developing world.
Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break is enjoyed each May during Fair Trade Fortnight when people throughout the country get together to taste the Fairtrade difference and fundraise for Oxfam's work towards a fairer, safer, more sustainable world.
Coffee Breaks are easy to organise, fun and completely flexible to suit your location. Coffee Breaks can be hosted in your home, workplace, school, community hall, local park – wherever!
Money raised at your Coffee Break will make a big difference in the lives of people across the Pacific and Southeast Asia. Let us show you how.
The best way to be the first to hear when sign ups are open for 2014 is to subscribe to our email newsletters.
Send us the money you raised at your Coffee Break.
Hosts who get their donations in by the 27th May will go into the draw to win 24 bars of Whittakers 250g chocolate – that’s a year’s supply of chocolate!
It gets even better! The host who raises the most amount of money by the 10th June will win a year’s supply of Cafe L’affare Coffee delivered weekly to your door!
Teachers and students are invited to take part in Oxfam's Biggest Chocolate Break. Chocolate Break is a sweet twist on Coffee Break and although the basics remain the same, schools participating in Oxfam's Biggest Chocolate Break receive tailored resources and ideas on how students of all ages can learn about fair choices in a fun way and help make a big difference in the lives of people living in poverty in the world's poorest countries.
